FAQS AND INSTRUCTIONS
COACHES : To recommend a player, you must first register on-line at www.205lacrossecamps.com (please go to the HS COACHES tab). We will then give you directions on how to recommend players. We will verify your position as a coach from various sources.
PARENTS : You may not recommend any players for this camp. Their coaches must do so. Please pass this information on to your son's coach.
PLAYERS ON THE WAITLIST AT OTHER 205 CAMPS : If you are on the waitlist at one of the 205 camps back east, and would like to register for this camp, then please send me an email at 205westlacrosse@gmail.com. We will verify that you are on a waitlist and then give you further instructions to become registered.
Q1 Will the same college coaches be at both camps?
“When Top 205 began in 1989, we were asked if the college coaches would come. We said, ‘If the players come, the college coaches will follow.’ In 2007, when we started Top 205 Juniors, the same thing happened. When you run a quality program, although there are many questions at first, the proof will come out. We will invite every college coach in the country and if the high school coaches nominate their best players, the college guys will come. We believe that the talent throughout the country is equal, no matter where they are from. College coaches are not going to miss an opportunity to find talent, especially at such a great venue and following the blueprint that has succeeded in the past." - Bill Tierney
Q2 I am waitlisted at another 205 camp and have submitted a deposit. Can that deposit be transferred to 205 West?
No. The administrative functions of the various camps are separate. You need to pay an on-line deposit for 205 West which will guarantee you a spot in the camp. You will then request a refund from the camp where you are wait-listed.
Q3 If I am on a wait list for another 205 camp and have been offered a position at 205 West, does it affect my wait list priority at the first camp?
No. If you want to stay on the wait list at the first camp and choose not to participate at 205 West, you do not have to do anything.
Q4 Can I stay on the wait list for an Eastern Camp and enroll in 205 West?
No. Once you are accepted at any 205 Camp, you will be removed from all other wait lists.
Q5 How is the interest in 205 West?
Extremely positive. We will be sold out very soon and have very limited spots open at each position. We have already started wait-listing people at the goalie position and will have to start wait-lists at other positions soon.
